Job Description

Job Summary The Technician is responsible for providing customers with excellent service, preventative process maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of HVAC and industrial systems and components. Ideal candidates must have the ability to perform maintenance, service and repair of all makes and models of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Duties/Responsibilities • Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and industrial systems. • Maintains knowledge of hazard prevention and safety best practices. • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC and industrial systems. • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. • Testing and troubleshooting installations after completion. • Availability to work overtime and be on rotating on call schedule. • Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License. • Journeyman’s License or willing to pursue. • Excellent customer service skills. • Willingness to learn commercial and industrial boiler/burner technology and troubleshooting. Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent. • 3 – 5 years work related experience. • Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School.
