Wages Offered*
Starting at $32.00
 
Vacation Plan*
The Vacation / Sick plan year runs from January 1st to December 31st. You are eligible for 15 days (120 hours) of vacation and 7 days (56 hours) of sick time per plan year, to be earned on a pro-rata basis, commencing on your start date and continuing at this accrual rate until such time as your years of service advance you to a different accrual rate according to Wells’ vacation accrual schedule.
 
Sign on Bonus*
In addition to the above salary, you will be paid a taxable sign on bonus of $5,000. The first $1,000 of which is payable at 90 days after your start date and $2,000 of which is payable at six (6) months after your start date. The final $2,000 will be paid out at twelve (12) months after your start date.
 
Job Description
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems to equipment. Specific tasks include adjustments, installations, fabrications and modifications of equipment to maintain or improve safety and quality of operational conditions or equipment efficiency. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain and troubleshoot ammonia engine rooms, boilers, air compressors and other support equipment. Mechanical Skills, knowledge and application of technical skills and expertise to ensure the provision of effective engineering support within the team, focused on delivering performance targets. Electrical Skills, remove and replace major electrical components (such as motors, switch/control gear) and troubleshoot compact electrical circuits safely. Able to isolate machinery and re-install electrical supplies for machinery components. Programming/Logic Skills and diagnostics, related tasks include testing, debugging maintaining a program’s code, implementation of input/output systems, and management of associated programmable hardware such as input/output cards, backplanes, processor and various other logic components. Leadership, promote the development of a highly effective team through strong communication, leading by example while keeping focused on goals and targets. Continuous Improvement, use performance measures to identify and prioritize losses in production area. Project Management, achieve the desired outcomes of the project in line with agreed plans using appropriate project management tools and techniques to ensure the efficient use of technical, financial and human resources. Qualifications for External Candidates In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity. High School diploma or equivalent is required. 2 – 4-year degree in industrial technology or related field is preferred. Must possess a mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration background. Must have the knowledge to diagnose and test equipment, correct malfunctions, and make improvements to all support equipment. Must possess electrical, mechanical, refrigeration skills. Ability to working in small teams, troubleshooting, and train other members of the mechanical team.
