Job Description
Supervise the operation of the plant’s utility systems, which include 45,000 ton ammonia refrigeration, 170 PPH steam boilers and distribution systems, and 4 megawatt electrical power generating plant. Supervise Cogen and refrigeration operators. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of refrigeration, and cogeneration facilities/ equipment. Prepare daily production downtime and status reports, analyze data and production/maintenance systems, make recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity while maintaining quality standards. Support and schedule work order system to improve plant systems. Hire, manage, discipline, provide leadership, training, and guidance to associates within the department. Assist production with identifying and correcting quality problems. Administer CCJ employee relation’s procedures. Provide hands on employee training on safety and Refrigeration and utilities equipment operation.
