Primary Duties:
The primary role of the Utilities Technician is to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and utilization of plant utility systems and equipment. This is accomplished by utilizing mechanical and electrical expertise in the operation and precise installation, maintenance, and repair of plant utility systems and equipment followed by concise and accurate documentation of all activities and observations. Knows and follows HACCP program and principles, USDA guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
The Utilities Technician works closely with all plant personnel to support improved utility system and equipment reliability as well as efficient and cost-effective use of plant resources….
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 3-5 years similar experience.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude, as demonstrated by aptitude and/or skills assessment, required.
- Must possess basic knowledge of electrical safety, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, ammonia refrigeration, compressors, boilers, and HVAC systems…..
