Safety First: A strong commitment to performing daily duties with safety as your top priority. Minimum 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repair. Skilled in preventative maintenance and Process Safety Management (PSM) solutions. Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical components and systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Keen attention to detail for accurate process following. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Computer and iPad proficiency for electronic documentation. Independent and collaborative work abilities. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association (RETA) Certification or equivalent. EPA Universal Refrigerant certification is a plus. Ability to undergo a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and use a full-face respirator. Personal hand-tools (power and specialty tools provided by the company).

Job Description
1. Install and commission ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and control systems. 2. Perform regular preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. 3. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions, leaks, and other operational problems in ammonia refrigeration systems. 5. Monitor system parameters, such as temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, to ensure proper operation and adjust settings as needed. 6. Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently to minimize production interruptions. 7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition. 8. Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. 9. Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to ammonia refrigeration systems. 10. Collaborate with team members, engineers, and clients to provide technical support, advice, and recommendations on refrigeration system upgrades, expansions, and modifications.
