Ideal candidate will have Boiler, HVAC, Ammonia refrigeration and Electrical knowledge. Education and certification is preferred but may have equivalent experience and willing to obtain needed certifications.
Credentials/Certifications Required *
Required to have an Operator I through GCAP or equivalent and must be willing to obtain a certification in Caro.
Wages Offered *
1st shift-$22.60/hr 2nd shift $23.10/hr 3rd shift $22.85/hr
Probationary Period *
30, 60 and 90 day reviews
Vacation Plan *
1 Week paid vacation after 1 year and 2 weeks after 3 years
Sign on Bonus *
JBS Ottumwa is offering all new hires a attendance based sign on bonus. Your eligibility for the sign on bonus will begin from your 1st day of employment. The criteria is as follows: • Must not be a rehire/Cannot have worked for any other JBS facility • Must have 3 or less points total at your 3 month anniversary date from start date/$500 • Must have 3 or less points total at your 6 month anniversary date from start date/$500
