Position: Automation Maintenance Technicians As we expand our automated network, we are harnessing the power or some of the world’s most advanced automation and robotics warehouse technologies to become the leader in fully-automated temperature-controlled distribution centers in North America. As the Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and assisting in troubleshooting of automated equipment for corrective maintenance. Additionally, you will inspect, repair or replace key electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses and variable frequency drives. Responsibilities of the Automation Maintenance Technician: • Calibrate and repair proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, pushbuttons and the associated testing equipment • Electrical Background with 3 phase 480v, DC and 24v power sources • Diagnose, repair, install, and modify electronic and or electro-mechanical equipment including analog, digital, and discrete components • Assist in diagnosing issues with wiring of control panels and associated equipment • Attend to all breakdowns and conduct fault finding to resolve engineering and operational issues, minimizing down time • Adhere to monthly preventive maintenance schedules and complete all tasks within the time periods given. • No issues working at heights of up to 80’. • Follow all Safety processes and procedures for technicians interaction with automation equipment to prevent injuries • Maintain accurate work records and parts used in a Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) • Assist ASRS Manager with various tasks as directed Required Qualifications of the Automation Maintenance Technician: • Knowledge of the NEC and other electrical practices and standards • Experience using basic hand tools such as soldering irons and power tools • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Ability to work varied shifts, OT and weekends as necessary Preferred Qualifications of the Automation Maintenance Technician: • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and line drawings • Previous experience with Dambach cranes, TGW Conveyor systems or Riantics automated equipment. Work Environment: • Cold storage food warehouse with temperatures between -0 and 34 degrees • Ability to withstand cold storage temperatures from 0 – 34 degrees for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company) • Noise level varies at times and it can be loud Benefits Lineage provides safe, stable, reliable work environments, competitive pay, excellent benefits, 401K, and Paid Time Off.
