This great opportunity doesn’t come along frequently! Whole Foods Market Distribution Center in Austin, Texas is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to get in on the ground floor of our brand new, state of the art, 130,000+ sq. ft. refrigerated facility that will be opening in March 2023. This facility will be right up the road in Manor, Texas, about 15 minutes from our current facility. Your day will include Refrigeration walks, documenting findings, prioritizing, and completing general work orders, working with, and scheduling outside partners contracted to service our equipment. You will become intimately knowledgeable of all aspects of the facility, including the refrigeration system (ammonia) and control system, fire sprinkler system, dock leveler system, etc. and be a member of our Safety Committee and Food Safety Team.
