Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government (e.g. LOTO, Work Permits, etc.) Adhere to plant safety and 5S requirements; Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance/mechanical support. Preform repairs and maintenance on Brewery Utilities systems including steam Boilers, CO2 collection, ammonia refrigeration and dehumidification, compressed air and incoming water treatment. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling of machinery, overhaul gearboxes, and replace bearings, bushings, etc. Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.. Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time. Utilize SAP to accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day; including searching and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues and entering inspection/measurement points. Drive brewery goals & objectives through individually led projects and continuous improvement activities. Benefits Wage Rate: M-F: $33.27, Sat :$49.91 & Sun: $66.54 Free Beer! (1 cases per month) Qualifications – High School Diploma or GED required 3 year industrial mechanical experience or two-year technical degree Highly motivated, self-directed, multi crafted worker that is able to work autonomously in a fast paced and often loud production environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds Knowledge of safety policies and procedures is required (e.g. lock out / tag out, confined space entry) Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes (e.g. six sigma analysis) and propose and implement remedies. Strong computer skills required; Microsoft Office Excel proficiency as well as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems experience preferred. Ability to perform mechanical work, valve replacement, pump replacement / alignment, motor/gearbox replacement, lube routes. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates. Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist. Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds. Experience with Boilers, Ammonia Refrigeration systems and Compressed Air systems preferred and highly recommended.
